JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A former JSO officer was arraigned on a new charge Monday after his March arrest on child sex allegations.
Matthew Butler, 39, was arrested March 26 for three counts of sexual battery. He’s also accused of having a nude photograph of a child.

JSO released his mug shot, citing the severity of the allegations. Officers’ mugshots are typically exempt from release.

Police say a second victim came forward while he was in jail, claiming there was an incident during a sleepover.
He was arraigned on a new lewd and lascivious charge Monday. He's now pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Combined, he is facing a more than $1.5-million bond. The judge passed a hearing on that bond to May 7.
