FPL provides hurricane restoration update and livestream news conference

SARASOTA, Fla — FPL is hosting a news conference Saturday at 9:30 AM at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota.

FPL has assembled a restoration workforce of more than 21,000 men and women from more than 30 states, and they are working around the clock to restore power to customers safely and as quickly as possible. FPL has already restored power to more than 1.2 million customers throughout its service territory.

There is also an option to join via Facebook Live.

In addition to a live stream of the news conference, in-the-field visuals from FPL’s restoration and preparations are continuously updated at FPL’s Newsroom.
