DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — Frank H. Peterson Academies of Technology was deemed safe by officials after a reported bomb threat on Tuesday.
Duval County Public Schools spokesman Mark Sherwood said a threat was called in before school started.
Officials said the school was evacuated and searched by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Officials said the building was safe for all students and school personnel to resume normal duties.
Sherwood said the threat was not substantiated.
Duval County Schools will continue to work cooperatively with all agencies to aid in a complete and thorough investigation.

Clay County School Officials canceled classes at Orange Park High after a direct bomb threat was reported early Tuesday morning. Officials with the Clay County Sheriff's Office and Jacksonville Sheriff's Office are currently investigating the Orange Park High threat.
