Free swim tests for children available at local YMCA locations this weekend

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — On Saturday, June 8, the First Coast YMCA is hosting Splash Bash, a free swim event and community open house where everyone can learn more about how to enjoy the water safely.

All First Coast YMCA locations with pools will be accessible to everyone. This summer, all YMCA members and non-members are invited to come out to their local First Coast YMCA branch to get their child (or self!) tested for FREE by YMCA’s swim experts.

If you or your child does not pass the swim test or does not know how to swim—the First Coast YMCA provides many swimming resources for all skill levels, from Safety Around Water instruction to three different types of swim lessons.
