JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Would you like a Navy boat of your very own?
The Department of Defense's Government Liquidation site is auctioning off a Navy Willard boat that was used by the Department of Defense and NAS Jacksonville, according to a release from Liquidity Services.
Bidding starts at $25 and the auction begins at 12 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, and ends at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 17.
The boat, which was used for launching and retrieving people from Navy ships, was built in 2003 and can hold up to 18 people. Liquidity Service recommends that prospective buyers preview the boat, as there is a crack at the bottom of the hull and the engine, and electrical components are missing.
