According to Glynn County Public Information Officer Lawton Dodd, the curfew is to discourage residents from driving and keep people off the streets.
As snow melts throughout the day, it’s expected to refreeze overnight, producing hazardous road conditions, according to Dodd.
Glynn County is under a state of emergency as is the state of Georgia.
