The removal of a massive capsized cargo ship in Glynn County has been put on hold.
In a meeting on Friday, officials announced the pause is because of COVID-19 and the hurricane season.
At least 10 responders have tested positive for COVID-19, including some personnel critical to the removal project of the Golden Ray.
The weather has forced crews to stop 73 times since removal efforts began.
