Trent Lehrkamp shares personal recovery update on GoFundMe page

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. — Trent Lehrkamp, the Glynn County teen dropped off at the ER after being tortured by his “friends,” gave a personal recovery update Sunday afternoon on his family’s GoFundMe page.

According to the update, Lehrkamp wants everyone to know he is thankful for the love and support and wants everyone to know he’s alive and well despite the long recovery ahead of him. However, he is hopeful that through the support of the community, he will make it back to normalcy and stated, “Justice will be served.”

Lehrkamp’s family also shared and update and said they have been helping him get settled at an out-of-state facility where he will be getting the care he needs. They ask the community to continue praying for Trent’s recovery and thank the community for showing him so much kindness.
