JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — We’re tracking record-challenging heat this afternoon and the 4th, with ‘feels-like’ temps well into the triple digits.
“Looking at even the beaches managing to get in to the mid-90’s before the sea breeze kicks in enough to drop that temperature a little bit”, Buresh said.
Thunderstorms are expected to be widely scattered but locally heavy, like Tuesday.
Showers and storms will form between 1 and 3pm.
