Drivers say traffic on Interstate 10 in Jacksonville can be a headache, especially during rush hour.
Andy Warner drives it all the time. His job takes him all over Jacksonville.
"(I-10) falls in line with 95 and 295," he said. “Different times of day it is stop and go, you’re moving 5 feet at a time."

He's among drivers who told Action News Jax Brittney Donovan that they’re excited to hear about plans to add two new lanes in each direction.
The Florida Department of Transportation plans to widen I-10 to 10lanes between Interstate 295 and Interstate 95.
“I’ve been wanting that for years. It’s long overdue because Jacksonville is a booming metropolitan area,” driver Don Paul said.
FDOT says population growth in the area has been a driver for the expansion.

The department already owns the land, or right of way, beside the highway – which it says has sped up the project.
The funding still has to be approved in the state budget, but FDOT says construction could start as early as the end of 2019. It’s expected to take at least 3 1/2 years.
Because most of the work will be on the sides of the road, FDOT doesn’t expect much of a disruption for drivers’ commutes.
