A previously scheduled match at Jacksonville University between the Jacksonville Armada FC and Orlando City FC was a chance for the two cities and teams to come together as one and honor the victims of Sunday's mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando.
In the 49th minute of the game -- to correspond with the 49 victims lost in the shooting -- fans of both teams stood and applauded for the whole minute to honor those victims.
"It's going to hurt all of us for sure, but we're here together," said Armada fan Sunny Naik.
"I was over in New York during 9/11 and we went to a Yankees game. It actually takes your mind off of things just for a little while," said Orlando City fan Harold Torsiello.
