The Ribault High School girls basketball basketball is taking home the trophy as the Class 6A state champions.
The Lady Trojans won the title by defeating Lakewood High School 72-31 Saturday in St. Petersburg.
This is the 12th state title for the Jacksonville team.
In 2016, the Lady Trojans finished their season 30-1 and were named national champions. The team had also won a four-team invitational tournament earlier that year at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
