Jacksonville, Fla. — Ron Salem has filed to run for re-election in 2023 for his at-large group seat on City Council.
Salem had never held political office prior to his 2019 run. The healthcare administrator told Action News Jax at the time the three biggest issues facing Duval County voters were public safety, economic development and public education.
I held a Town Hall meeting last week to provide an opportunity for citizens to ask questions about the local option gas tax. Thank you to Nat Ford (JTA) and Jordan Elsbury (Administration) for joining me and answering questions. pic.twitter.com/lNEMY5pTnS
