A family who recently moved to Jacksonville claims its moving company is holding its belongings hostage.
Wade Green said his family entered a contract with Flagship Van Lines in May to deliver the family's items.
According to Green, the family and Flagship agreed the drop-off date would be June 26.
The belongings, however, have yet to be delivered.
“They’re like, 'It will be three to five business days,'” Green said. “Three to five business days come and go. Stuff is still not here.”
Green said the moving truck was filled with furniture, electronics and sentimental items such as photograph albums, his wife’s wedding ring and blankets that were made by hand for his son.
According to the Better Business Bureau, the moving company is not accredited.
There are several customer complaints, including complaints about issues with deliveries, on the BBB website.
He said he has called the company at least 30 times, and most of his call have gone unanswered.
Action News Jax called the company twice and left voicemails both times. We are still waiting for a response.
