An interim CEO is taking over for Fred McKinnies at the #Jacksonville Housing Authority. JHA is staying tight-lipped. McKinnies didn't want to answer any questions when I showed up at his house to get his side of the story. At 5 on CBS47, the clue I found in a city email. pic.twitter.com/xJ2n2TPheT

JHA Vice President of Housing Management Dwayne Alexander is taking over for McKinnies.
Action News Jax sent the city a public records request for any documentation of complaints about abuse of power at JHA.
The city denied our request, but the statute it cited for denial could be a clue; it’s about the conditions under which complaints of discrimination are exempt from public record.
That response implies there could be open discrimination complaints.
McKinnies has been working for JHA since 1993.
Alexander joined JHA six months ago.
