Jacksonville Humane Society offering free adoptions for new year

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — You can ring in the new year with a new pet.

The Jacksonville Humane Society is hosting a “New Year, New Pet” adoption special until Jan. 1 where all adoptions are free.

You can stop by the JHS Adoption Center on Beach Boulevard from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

All animals are microchipped, altered, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Additional fees may apply.
