Jacksonville low on list of best cities to celebrate Christmas, according to WalletHub

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville is the 70th best city to celebrate Christmas in, according to a new WalletHub survey.

The personal finance company ranked the 100 biggest cities across 28 key indicators, such as traditions, observance, generosity, shopping, and costs.

There were Jacksonville’s rankings:

  • Traditions and fun: 58/100
  • Observance: 61/100
  • Generosity: 50/100
  • Shopping: 44/100
  • Costs: 43/100

Orlando was ranked fifth overall. Miami was eighth.

Tampa came in at 26. St. Petersburg was close to Jacksonville at number 67.

Hialeah scored very low at 99.

Atlanta, Georgia was ranked the best city to celebrate Christmas in. North Las Vegas, Nevada was ranked the worst.

According to WalletHub, Miami is tied for the most Christmas tree farms per capita. Orlando is tied for the most gift shops per capita.
