JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville man wanted for murder was captured in Daytona Beach Thursday, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
Jordan T. Hodge, 21, was wanted out of Duval County on a warrant for second-degree murder.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said Hodge was one of three people who now face a murder charge in the shooting death of a 20-year-old man on Shenandoah Avenue on January 24.
Volusia County deputies say Hodge attempted to run but was quickly apprehended.
He’s being extradited back to Duval County.
Hodge has been arrested several times in Duval County. Prior charges include, robbery, aggravated battery on a pregnant woman, and resisting arrest, according to court records.
