JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The City of Jacksonville announced Friday it is canceling all activities scheduled for Monday due to expected cold weather conditions.
According to a spokesperson for the city, the decision was made out of an ‘abundance of caution’ for public safety.

That includes the 44th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade in Downtown Jacksonville.
The MLK Memorial Foundation will reschedule the events for some time in early February.
