Investigators are searching for the gunman who shot two teens in the overnight drive by shooting that killed one and injured another.
According to police, a silver LaSabre pulled up behind the 18 and 19 year-old who were walking down the street and opened fire.
“I tried to tell myself it was fireworks, but then after a minute it stopped and then there was one last really loud bang and I knew it was definitely not fireworks,” said a neighbor.
JSO said they will release the identities of the victims after appropriate notification has been made to the family of the deceased 18-year-old.
JSO is asking if anyone has information concerning this incident, please call the JSO Homicide Unit through JSO’s non-emergency number or through CrimeStoppers.
