The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is at the scene of 1534 West 1st Street where the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue also say they are on scene for a gunshot wound.
JSO says a 41-year-old male was found shot in a car and died after being taken to a hospital.
According to JSO. the victim did not live in the area and are investigating what he was doing in the area.
