JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two people have been arrested in connection with the 2016 death of Eddie Brown.
Brown, 31, was shot and killed Nov. 7 on Romona Boulevard.
A driver found the victim lying in the street with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Brown was possibly selling drugs on Lane Avenue and rented a room in the Ramona Boulevard area, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Detectives learned that Brown was seen leaving a hotel with Philieza Lopano, 21. The two were in a relationship prior to his death, JSO said.
Surveillance video showed Lopano and Blair Alexander Terry, 26, arriving at Brown's hotel room. Terry was seen getting out of the car and stepped into the shadows. Terry was seen walking up to them and getting into the back of the car with them, JSO said. That was the last time Brown was seen alive, JSO said.
Lopana and Terry were arrested on Sunday and charged with murder.
