JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE, 7/30/24: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the U.S. Marshals Service, apprehended Rashad Murphy, 30, at an apartment complex in the Collins Road area.
He was one of two suspects still wanted Monday for his alleged involvement in the shooting death of Charles Jones, also known as Julio Foolio, in Tampa last month.

Three people have been arrested in the murder of Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio, authorities announced Monday.
Foolio, whose real name was Charles Jones II, was shot and killed outside of a hotel in Tampa on June 23. He was there celebrating his 26th birthday. Three other people were also hurt in the shooting.

JSO said in a social media post that on, “Saturday afternoon, JSO SWAT, CPR, and Gang Unit members located and arrested Sean Gathright, 18, Alicia Andrews, 21, and Isaiah Chance Jr., 21.”
Security footage shown during a news conference in Tampa announcing the arrests on Monday shows several suspects running and shooting in a hotel parking lot.
Detectives believe the three shooters were part of Jacksonville gangs ATK and 1200 and worked together to target Foolio, who was part of 6 Block.

Police said Gathright was a shooter and Andrews and Chance played a role in the murder.
Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw said during the news conference that authorities have warrants for and are searching for 2 other people -- Davion Murphy and Rashard Murphy -- who were shooters along with Gathright.

Bercaw said the Tampa Police Department is working with JSO and U.S. Marshals to apprehend them.
Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters joined Bercaw and Hillsborough County State Attorney Suzy Lopez for the announcement in Tampa.
Action News Jax told you in June that Bercaw said indications are that the groups involved in the shooting all came from Jacksonville.

“There’s no place you’ll be able to hide if you commit crime in Jacksonville or any other city in the state of Florida,” Waters said in JSO’s social media post.
In the past three years, Jones had survived two previous shooting incidents in Jacksonville.
Foolio was known for his popular rap videos with controversial lyrics about murders involving rival gangs in Jacksonville.
