JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after a woman was brought to UF Health Jacksonville with gunshot wounds and later died.
UF Health Jacksonville confirmed that police responded to the hospital after someone drove up with a 23-year-old woman who had been shot.

The area around the car was roped off while police investigate the car. Officers also talked to the person who dropped the woman off.
It is not known at this time where the actual shooting happened. The relationship between the woman who died and the person who brought her to the hospital also is not known at this time.
