Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office releases their quarterly traffic report

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office release their first quarterly report for 2023.

We are pleased to share our latest quarterly traffic report, which highlights our agency’s dedicated efforts to improving the safety of our roadways. Through proactive patrolling, strategic deployments, and public education initiatives, we have seen (so far this year vs last year at the same time):

- 13.98% increase in DUI arrests vs 2022

- 5.61% increase in JSO DUI citations vs 2022

- 18.18% decrease in citywide traffic fatalities vs 2022

We hope that this report provides insight into the work we are doing to enforce traffic laws and hold drivers accountable for their actions. We thank our officers for their hard work and look forward to building on these achievements over the coming months.
