Jacksonville Symphony to present Violins of Hope

JACKSONVILLE, Fla — The Jacksonville Symphony presents Violins of Hope: Building Bridges Through the Power of Music on February 15, 2025.

The concert, which will be performed at Jacoby Symphony Hall, will feature instruments owned by Holocaust victims restored by Amnon and Avshalom Weinstein. Instruments can be viewed in the lobby before the concert.

“Through Violins of Hope, we aim to build bridges, fostering connection and empathy through music to stand against intolerance,” said Steven B. Libman, President and CEO of the Jacksonville Symphony.

Music Director Courtney Lewis will lead the Symphony, which will include performances by Concertmaster Adelya Nartadjieva and narration from the Violins of Hope Advisory Council.

Advisory Council Members include civil rights activist Rodney Hurst, CEO of One Jax Elizabeth Anderson, and President of the Vystar Foundation Patricia McElroy.
