JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens announced Friday that its MLK Day ticket promotion for the Colors of the Wild lantern display into February.
Purchasing one regular ticket to the after-hours event will now also get you early entry into the zoo any time after 3 p.m.
This will let you visit and see the animals that may be blocked off or not visible at night.

The display features more than 1,000 lighted lanterns highlighting diverse cultures around the world, “from the towering cherry blossoms of Asia to the native panthers and manatees of Florida, each lantern tells a unique story,” a post on the zoo’s website states.
