Jarred Harrell transferred to Florida State Penitentiary

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jarred Harrell, the man convicted of killing Somer Thompson, was transferred Monday morning to the Florida State Penitentiary.

Clay County Sheriff Rick Beseler confirmed his transfer during an interview on FOX30 Action News at 8.

Friday, Harrell admitted that he raped and murdered Somer Thompson in October 2009.

He was sentenced to six life sentences without the possibility of parole.
