JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — Decorating awards have been announced for Deckin’ Decade.

Organizers of the 2022 Jacksonville Beach Deck the Chairs event released the results, which featured two unique chair exhibits for the first time in event history.

For three weeks, JBDTC attendees were asked to vote on their favorite decorated display in the more than 40-chair exhibit.
The chair decorating was done through a blend of business partnerships and volunteers.
This year, organizers also partnered with Beaches Go Green and Greenwise Market for the first DTC student exhibit focusing on sustainability. Student chair voting ran at the same time with the main exhibit voting.
Here is a list of the 2022 winners:
- Best of Show: Fur Sisters Furever Urs Rescue
- Founder’s Chair: Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Florida
- Blue Chair: American Legion Post 129
- Yellow Chair: Saint Paul’s Catholic School
- Red Chair: Holladay Aviation
- Honorable Mentions: Beaches Car Wash, Angel’s Construction, Down Syndrome Association
