JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. — The Jekyll Island Authority is proposing an amendment to its 2014 Master Plan to convert 12 acres of undeveloped land to expand the Jekyll Island Campground, and to convert approximately three acres of undeveloped area for construction of a public safety complex.
The land is currently described as "undeveloped" in the Official Code of Georgia, so a Master Plan amendment is required for the projects to move forward.
