JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department says a person was seriously injured after being run over by a car in Mandarin Wednesday morning.
JFRD says the person was run over in a Walmart parking lot located on 10991 San Jose Boulevard and was trapped underneath the vehicle.
Authorities say the victim was in a parking spot when a car was attempting to park.
Crews were able to remove the person from underneath the vehicle, who was rushed to a nearby hospital.
That now empty parking spot is where the victim was run over. Based on the evidence, it appears he was pinned underneath the back of the vehicle. @ActionNewsJax pic.twitter.com/Y69I1Pn7VA
