JSO: Man shot after confronting auto burglary suspect on San Jose Blvd.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — JSO reports a third shooting took place at approximately 3:53 a.m. Sunday morning at 9400 San Jose Blvd.

One adult male victim was shot multiple times when he confronted an auto burglary suspect. He was transported to a local hospital where he is being treated.

As of right now, JSO has no witnesses of the incident and no suspects in custody.

However, according to the victim, the suspect is an adult male, who is either light-skinned Black or Hispanic. He is believed to have fled on-foot toward Sun Beam Rd.

JSO reports multiple cars were broken into at an apartment complex, and it believes the shooting suspect is also responsible for the burglaries. However, there is still limited information at this time.

People in the area are advised to use caution as the suspect is still at-large.
