Jacksonville, Fl — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says a 9-year-old child was shot in the throat while inside a home in the Moncrief Park neighborhood.
Officers responded to W. 19th Street around 9:20 pm Thursday. Two or three suspects fired multiple rounds into a home that was occupied by seven people. One round struck a 9-year-old in the throat.
She was taken to a hospital for treatment and JSO says she is in critical but stable condition.
