JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — 25-year-old Lawrence Bell was recently arrested for the 2023 murder of 23-year-old Christopher Griffin, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

JSO announced the arrest on social media.
According to the post, Griffin was found shot multiple times on Winthrop Street.
After reviewing evidence and consulting with the State Attorney’s Office, detectives identified Bell as the suspect.

He was already incarcerated in Georgia on unrelated charges.
Bell was extradited back to Jacksonville last week.
According to JSO, he is now at the Duval County Jail and charged with murder.
