RELATED STORY: Normandy Subway armed robber arrested, according to JSO
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the Subway on Normandy Blvd. was robbed at gunpoint.
JSO tweeted Saturday evening, stating a person by the same description tried carjacking someone nearby.
An officer located the person and a foot pursuit ensued, police said.
The suspect was found in a locked construction site and arrested, according to JSO.
An employee at the Subway at Normandy Blvd. and Lenox Ave. said two employees were working when the incident occurred.
