JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — When the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office received a call involving the drowning of a disabled person, Officer Matthew Reddish responded and jumped in a pond in full gear to save an autistic, nonverbal child, JSO says. The child was reunited with his family and is safe.

Jumped in the water full gear because time was of the essence, swam to the center of a pond and brought an autistic, non verbal, child out of the water.
