JSO police vehicle hits SUV on Edgewood

Two people went to the hospital with neck pain after an off-duty Jacksonville Sheriff's Officer struck an SUV that was stopped at a red light.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two people went to the hospital with neck pain after an off-duty Jacksonville Sheriff's Officer struck an SUV that was stopped at a red light on Tuesday afternoon.

According to JSO, the police vehicle was traveling southbound on Edgewood Avenue when it hit the car's rear bumper.

The two occupants in the SUV were transported to the hospital for neck pain. 

No damage was done to either vehicle.
