Jacksonville, Fl — Surveillance photos show two men who are wanted for a Tuesday night shooting at a northside Gate station that left a former football star seriously injured.
Jacksonville Police say an attempted robbery led to the shooting on Airport Center Drive and Main Street just after 9 pm. They say the victim was putting air in his tires when two unknown men approached, at least one had a gun.
As the suspects attempted to rob the victim, one of the suspects shot him. Louis Nix III posted video on Instagram as he was being transported to a hospital. He was a Raines High School star and played at Notre Dame before being drafted by the Houston Texans.
Both suspects were described as black males and were last seen as they fled the area on foot.
