NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. — Police are warning parents about tainted candy ahead of Halloween after hundreds of grams of drug-laced candy was seized.
According to the Neptune Beach Police report, an officer pulled over a tan four-door car for speeding near 1500 Atlantic Boulevard around 9:45 p.m. on Oct. 14th.
It states the officers visually estimated the vehicle traveling 60 mph in a 45 mph speed zone.

Xavier Sanchez, 18, was listed as the driver. While the officer was asking Sanchez for his driver's license and vehicle registration, the report stated that the he could smell marijuana from the car.
Sanchez and the passenger, 20-year-old Lando Foster, were asked to step out of the vehicle.
It states the officer found eight small bags and three larges bags filled with THC-laced soft candy, a total of 536 grams. The officer compared the candy to gummy bears or Sour Patch Kids.
The vehicle search also revealed one large glass water drug pipe, one small drug pipe, three white pills with T194 printed on them, four plastic bags of marijuana, and 1.1 grams of OG Kush Dank Vape.
Sanchez and Foster were each arrested and charged with felonies.

The report lists six offenses: possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession over 20 grams of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, use or possession with intent to use and speeding.
