JACKSONVILLE, Fla — Freedom Boat Club will be sponsoring and hosting the Little Skipper’s Kid Zone at the Northeast Florida Boat Show this Saturday and Sunday at the J Tech Institute at 8813 Western Way in Baymeadows. Kids of all ages are invited to visit and take part in the games, enjoy some giveaways from Freedom Boat Club and climb into the Freedom Sea’dan, Freedom Boat Club’s boat car.

“We invite everyone to stop by and see us at the boat show and join in some of the fun games we will have including life-size Jenga, checkers and cornhole,” said Lisa Almeida, co-owner of Freedom Boat Club Jacksonville. “We will also have some magic t-shirts that we will be giving away that change color in the sunshine and you can check out our very cool boat car. It is not something you see every day.”

The games available at Freedom Boat Club’s Little Skipper’s Kid Zone include life-size connect four, life-size checkers, cornhole, a basketball hoop, ladder golf and life-size Jenga. They will be giving away magic t-shirts to the kids while supplies last, as well as goody bags that will include things like temporary tattoos, bubbles, beads and more. Visitors will also have the opportunity to take pictures in the Freedom Sea’dan. It is a street-legal boat car that is an 18-foot Seasprite mounted on the frame of a 1994 Nissan Sentra.

The Northeast Florida Boat Show will be open Saturday, Oct. 15 and Sunday, Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. The cost of admission is $8 for adults and $6 for seniors, military, and first responders (ID is required). Children 15 and under are free. More information can be found here.
