JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Main Event Entertainment, the new entertainment venue in Latitude 360's old building, officially opens for business Tuesday.
The new center is at the site of the former Latitude 360 on Philips Highway, which closed last year.
The new venue will feature bowling, laser tag, billiards, shuffleboard, more than 60 big-screen TVs and a games gallery featuring more than 100 of the latest interactive and virtual video games.
The new center is completely renovated.
The company said it will also bring back more than 150 jobs that were lost after the closing of Latitude 360.
“Main Event is truly a unique dining and entertainment experience that allows guests of all ages to enjoy great food, play an assortment of incredible games and engage in exhilarating activities,” said Main Event Entertainment CEO Charlie Keegan. “We are thrilled to open our doors and begin sharing our ‘Eat. Bowl. Play.’ experience with the Jacksonville community. We look forward to becoming a staple of the local entertainment and dining scene.”
