CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — The man suspected in the death of a Middleburg mother appeared before a judge for the second time this week.
Donald Davidson, 34, is accused of accused killing Roseanne Welsh on Monday night. He is also suspected in kidnapping her 10-year-old daughter, who was found safe as deputies investigated the incident.
Deputies arrested Davidson Tuesday morning during a traffic stop.

Davidson was formally charged Thursday with a count of murder, attempted sexual battery and armed burglary. He was already facing other charges including capital sexual battery, grand theft and kidnapping.
Davidson appeared in court Friday morning and received no bond for the murder charge. He was also appointed a public defender.
The next court date for Davidson is scheduled for Jan. 7., 2015.
