An officer was looking over Chirico's 2014 Honda Civic, which was parked near the beach, and found a large green Mason jar that contained a leafy substance, the St. Augustine Beach Police arrest report said. A police K9 named Kilo was called in and had a response to the door where the jar was located, police said.
When the vehicle was searched, they found marijuana, a scale, a grinder and rolling papers, the arrest report said. Chirco told arresting officers that the marijuana, grinder and rolling papers belonged to him and that the scale belonged to a friend.
