“The investigation began when deputies responded to a Fernandina home, finding the victim unresponsive with prescription bottles and suspicious blue pills nearby,” a news release on the sheriff’s office Facebook page states. “Family members reported she had recently purchased drugs in Camden County from a dealer known as “Fruits,” later identified as Robinson."
Investigators said they linked Robinson to the woman’s death through text messages, surveillance footage from the Kingsbay Food Mart in St. Mary’s Ga., which showed the drug transaction, the news release states.
