The man who authorities say was on the loose on NAS Jacksonville property this morning has been caught.

Police are searching for a man who broke onto NAS Jacksonville Wednesday morning.
A spokesperson for NAS Jacksonville said around 10:00 a.m., the man crashed his vehicle on Roosevelt Boulevard and Collins Road, jumped a fence to the base and took off on foot.
Military police and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office are currently searching for the suspect.
People living at NAS are asked to stay in their homes and avoid the area from Perimeter Road to Swan Road until the man is caught.

All personnel living aboard the station are asked to remain in their homes and stay clear of Perimeter Road to Swan Road due to police activity.
