Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. — 10 A.M. Friday Update: The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said the person found dead inside a parking garage was a 17-year-old boy. An investigation revealed the boy committed suicide.
A man was found dead in a Ponte Vedra Beach parking garage in Thursday night.
Authorities said the man's body was found at the bottom of the parking garage , the same parking lot of Ruth's Chris Steak House off A1A.
The sheriff's office had every entrance to the garage blocked off, and appeared to be investigating the back of the garage.
A medical examiner arrived around 11 p.m. Thursday. The cause of death at this time is unknown.
