DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — A man who was killed when he was hit by a train Monday night in Northwest Jacksonville has been identified by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police said a train engineer saw Mark Evans, 51, resting on the side of the tracks. He tried to get out of the way but lost his footing and fell.
JSO does not suspect foul play in his death.
