Man shot in wrist during early-morning shooting

A man was shot in the wrist Sunday morning at Stars Rest Inn near Lane Avenue and Interstate 10.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office received a call about the shooting just before 5:15 a.m.

The man was reportedly transported to UF Health with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said they have no suspect information at this time.
