One person suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in Lincoln Hills Saturday morning.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a call at about 6 a.m. at a home on West John F. Kennedy Drive.
Police found a man shot multiple times.
The man was then taken to UF Health, according to JSO.
Police said the man knew the shooter but did not say what their relationship was.
JSO is still searching for the shooter.
Family members say they have no idea why there was a shooting in a peaceful neighborhood. They say both individuals were mild tempered, a nephew shot his uncle, and the young nephew had no violent propensities. I’m not going to show a picture for this post to preserve privacy.
