STORY: Paraplegic patient locked out of facility says 'It was traumatic'
A man -- described as being around 70 years old -- has died after he washed ashore on a St. Johns County beach, authorities said.
The man was found not breathing at Anastasia Island on Thursday morning.

Investigators are working to figure out how long the man was in the water for.
St. Augustine Beach Police Department said the victim was taken to Flagler Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
His identity has not been released pending next of kin notification.
UPDATE: This is actually on Anastasia Island, just south of St. Augustine Beach, north of Crescent Beach. Police say they are working to notify the man's family, not releasing his identity at this time.
